A Letter From Our Principal

Dear Parents:

The administration, teachers, and support staff at Lincoln Elementary School strive to create a positive, warm and caring environment where parents and students feel comfortable and safe.  Our goal is for all family members to become an integral part of their child’s education.  Research indicates that when the home and school work together, students experience a greater level of academic success.  Building a strong parent/school relationship means parents and schools must communicate actively with each other.  By getting involved, you show your child that you value school and education, and you increase your child’s chances for success.

Our teachers collaborate on a regular basis to provide support for the students as well as one another.  We have worked on mapping our curriculum to align with the Oklahoma PASS objectives from all subject areas.  (Math, Reading, Science, Social Studies, The Arts, P.E. , etc.)  This type of alignment will create learning opportunities that cover more than one subject at a time.  Through collaboration and professional development our staff stays abreast of current educational research and the best instructional practices.  Teachers maintain high expectations as they plan engaging learning opportunities.  Our hope is that students emerge from Lincoln Elementary with a lifelong love for learning.
